This morning Atlas Security Patrol hosted a first aid training event for parents at Egremont Primary School Wallasey. We already do this for many schools and businesses but it was clear that access to such training for individuals was not as accessible nor available as it should or could be.

Over 12 keen and interested parents and carers attended and were given an basic parental first aid course .

Lasting over 3 hours, subjects covered included CPR, use of a Defib, choking, siezures, childhood illnesses, burns and scalds.

The event was designed to get parents involved in getting basic knowledge and learning more about first aid. All attendees were able to take an active part and utilise CPR dummies inclding adult, child and babies and access to a wide range of first aid equipment all provided by Atlas, including a Defibrillator trainer machine.

Feedback from the morning was extremely postive with some attendees requesting to attend more in depth courses.

The event was so successful that this school is already arranging for its next course!
